The initiation to music class is specially designed to awaken musical abilities in children ages 3 to 6. Children will develop a sense of rhythm, sing and explore music through small percussion instruments and the xylophone. Classes last 40 minutes and are given every Saturday from 9 to noon, depending on the age group.

The initiation to music teacher, Sophie Gaudreau-Pinsonneault, has prepared multiple videos to demonstrate different home activities that can be done with simple objects found at home. These activities are similar to those she presents in her class. To watch all the videos from her collection, press the button in the top right-hand corner. (The videos are in French.)
In the arts and crafts class, children (ages 6 to 12) will learn about different visual artists in a playful environment. Using different artistic mediums such as clay, paint, pastels and sharpies, they will create, at times in the way of the artist and other times by identifying the artist's typical artistic characteristics and creating an opposite artwork. Throughout this process, the students will learn different techniques to accomplish their work. Arts and crafts classes are given every Friday evening.
